Default Santa-Fe 2005 3.5 v6 Fault Code P0430

I'm getting the P0430 and it may be the catalytic converters or associated O2 sensors. Does anyone have a parts breakdown with part numbers and prices.
Also I was wondering if there was any warranty coverage for this fault code
Thanks
Jeff

Here is a picture of your catalytic converter. Im glad its bank 2 because bank 1 is not a treat!! Bank 2 is closest to the radiator. As far as price you will have to PM me your trucks VIN number an I can get you price. It could be the Oxygen sensor too, But if you dont have a scanner you may not be abe to dia. the sensor.

I don't have a scanner, only code reader, I have cleared the fault and after driving for about three days, the fault comes back with 1 pending and 1 stored fault.
My question is if it were a bad O2 sensor, wouldn't the fault show up immediately?
Also I PM'd you with the VIN but never heard anything on the pricing, I will get the vin and resend if you didn't receive my PM
Thanks, Jeff

Sorry I will get you some prices tomorrow. I totally spaced your prices. Only O2 that could be bad would be the lower. But really not likely. How the PCM get this code is, PCM compares upper O2 an Lower O2. If it see Oxygen on the lower sensor after car is warmed you. It will through this code. Now do you have any exhaust leaks? Flex pipe? Lower gaskets? Cracks in manifold?

Histtory on this issue:
Last year Hyundai dealer in Danbury CT did the timing belt change and remote starter install. The car had 60K and I didn't want to try the timing belt myself and they had a special on the remote starter installation.
About three months later when it rained heavy or there was high humidity the engine ran like crap sounded to me like two or three cylinders were not firing, and the check engine lite would come on then go out and the engine would clear up and every thing was ok. I never took it back to dealer, just dealt with it. after a wwhile this roblem got worse and was happening more often. About two mnths ago the same condition happened, only this time the P0430 came up (I had since got a code reader so I could find out what was coding. I feel that the misfiring happened so much that the converter got clogged up. I have changed all the spark plug wires and spark plugs the car now has 97K on it and I am not seeing the misfires just about 150 miles after I clear the codes they pop op again and the car in not running as good as it should on flat and level ground it's OK but going up a hill it bogs down and has to be kicked down to maintain speed.

OK here is what I would do. Get it back to the dealer. Let them take a look agian at it. If they say it is the Cat, an the manifold is not cracked. I could call Hyundai Consumer affairs an tell them what is going on. I do see your the original owner so that goes a long way in Hyundai eyes. What they will do is open a case, They will contact the dealer they will tell them whats up. Then Hyundai will call you back. They will either tell you they will take care of it they wont. If they say no tell them you want to contact the DPSM(District Parts Service Manager) An see what he will say. I would also tell them you have done all possible maintenances to car. This will get the ball going I'm sure.

Here is prices on parts
( warrant on Cat is 8yrs 80k )
Catalyst (L/H) 28530-39920 $858.23
Gasket 28535-39000 $13.94
Gasket 28764-26000 $16.76

Sorry it took so long to get your prices!
