Is there a vacuum test that can be performed on the tank and hoses,
I purchased the gas cap at the Danbury Hyundai dealer, I purchased the solenoid valve at local parts(car Quest) it came in Hyundai box, I think I will get another valve at Hyundai and try again, I install valve exactly the way it came out, I think there was an arrow on it pointing to the engine.

There are a couple was this is diagnosed. One is with the scantool set to run a evap test. Other is with a smoke machine you close off the close canister valve an push smoke in the system. then you look for smoke.

Besides just buying pars and throwing them at the problem, sound like a visit to the dealer EH?

Yes I do think it is time to see your dealer. Might save you money. Small evaporate leaks are hard to find without the right tools.

Well she is all fixed, I took it to the Danbury dealer and they tested and smoke tested and found a small hole in the vent line that runs next to the filler line. 353.00 dollars for parts and labor and I am running again with no fault lights.
Funny how the lines got rotted out.

Glad you got it handled. Small evap leaks can cost to repair. Seeing the equipment they use to find the leaks are not cheap an the labor involved finding the leak can be timely.
