Hello. My Neg battery cable connector is coming loose off the battery terminal. What can I do to keep it from coming loose? The bolt on the connector is nice and tight but it just won't fit snug on the terminal.

More than likely, what has happened is, you've over torqued the clamp and crushed the post. The post is made of lead and very soft. I know of several ways to correct this problem, none of which I advise or suggest. If you want to know some of my ghetto fixes PM me cause I'm not posting them. lol

There are allot of "Back Yard" repairs. Here is the proper repair.

Its a battery shim. Will slid over the post then the clamp will go over this. Now this part will cost about 4 bucks. Now a good old paper clip will do the trick too. :)

Ok. Where can I get this shim? Oh and how does the paper clip trick thingy work anyway?

Just about any parts store should have these. The paper clip trick works the same way. Just loosen the clamp push paper clip between the post an the clamp tighten then cut off excess clip.
