Hello Elantra fans. I have a 2008 GLS sport, which has a factory spoiler with the third brake light in it. Friends of mine who have either SUV's, pick-ups, and mini-vans have stated to me that because of their higher elevation when they're driving the third brake light does not show up that well. The other brake light in the back window isn't wired up.
Can i wire this brake light up as well, and do any of you think it would void the warranty. Hate to ask the dealer, knowing that they would say no you can't, etc.

No it will not void the warranty! Just run couple wires from your one in the window to the plug that plugs in on your spoiler should be a very easy fix! I have seen many of people that has both! If you allready have the one in the deck it just might be unpluged! never know!

No not unplugged. Wire harness runs threw the trunk lid with no connection for the 3rd brake light for the back window.

I would just run a couple of wires from your spoiler to your 3rd brake lamp. should be easy!
