Install procedures for 2006 Sonata pedal position sensor?
Have code p2127.
Is this just a matter of replacing the pedal position sensor or does the ecu need to be reflashed after the install?
Any instructions for step by step procedures?

The car went into limp mode. (10-15 mph)

Dealer wants to replace aps, reprogram the ecu, decarbon throttle body and induction track, charge $98.00 per hour for 2hr labor.
$168.00 for aps and $551.00 for cleaning.

I was looking for some input from someone who has done this repair or if this is a DIY fix.

Thanks in advance,
RC

Well I have seen this code alot! Just replace the Accelerator Pedal Sensor Assembly. Its very easy to do! Its a complete Gas Pedal! Its one connector an four
12m nuts! very easy to do! For anyone that hasnt done it before it wont take more
than 30min or so to do! Pull the negative on the battery after your done to clear the
codes!

Here is a good TSB on this concern!
