When accelerating through shift points the veracruz does fine but when cruising at or very near the shift points....you get a hunting or jerking motion from the transmission. Are there any updates or downloads for the automatic transmission for this problem?

The Veracruz has been at the dealership all day, (They said,it wasn't the transmission) The throttle position switch was change out & cleaned throttle body & couple of other things that needed to be done. So I test drove the car....still has the same problem, drove back to the dealership & right now it has them puzzled. Veracruz also hesitates from a stop position some times. I ask could it be the fuel pump, but they said, there should be a code thrown with what is going on with the Veracruz. They are still working trying to figure out what is going on. The Veracruz did show the problem with mechanic driving. Keeping fingers crossed!

At least they are trying to figure it out. Hopefully they come up with something. Let us know what happens.

Update... The dealer said today, That they have been talking to Hyundai about the problem and Hyundai made some suggestions, part is ordered & also it finally threw a code. So by tomorrow afternoon we should know if this does the trick. The Dealer has been very good about trying to find the problem & gave me a loaner to drive. Can't complain about them!

Update..problem solved!!!!What felt like transmission, fuel problem turned out to be.....OK, I stated on earlier post, code was thrown...wrong, never threw a code......But mechanic was test driving & monitoring when shudder started -found misfires on cylinders 1,3,5, but no codes. They contacted tech line found bank #1 out of time by 30.7 degrees compared to bank #2 & was told to replace oil control valve 24355-3C200. Car is running like a champ now!!! Have to hand it to the Dealer....Very good job!!!!

I'm glad they got it handled. Oil control valve issues are far an few but they do go bad time to time.
