Hi All.
I just bought the pearl white (JR) color code touch up pen . I don't know why when I brush to my small scatch area . I found this touch up is very
transparency. It is not the white color. Did I need to buy the base white color ? Please anyone can tech me how I can use this touch up pen and if I
need to buy the other white touch up . Please tell me the code no . ?
Thanks !!

You're going to be hard pressed to duplicate a tri-coat pearl regardless of the base colour. It needs to be transparent in order to allow light in through the overcoat/pearl and to the base coat.
If you wish to look at what a white would do and how it would stand out buy some shoe polish and dab it on. It'll stick out like a sore thumb at night, cloudy day or in a shade and if the touch up has any size to it it'll stand out in the sunlight by not being reflective and not allowing light inside either.
Look at the pearl white under a large magnifying glass, w/binoculars, Pentax 6.5x21, that focus at 18" or a through the lens camera, SLR, w/macro lens and you'll see the complexity of the pearl.
You can't duplicate it w/touch up pen, but you can protect the paint and somewhat cover the scratch.
I have an oldie moldy Olympus C-2500L and I stack +1, +2 & +4 macro lens and then pull the 3X (110MM) zoom.
Partially because of the zoom, though it allows me to back up a bit, the pics come out grey picking up/flooded out by the silver glitter, but you can still pick out green-blue and red specks of pearl.
Even w/my old naked eyes, in direct sunlight, I can pick up the green-blue hues from that pearl though the reds allude me.

At this link there is a PDF file that explains the proceedure. The pen has clear coat on one end and white on the other.
White first, clear last. JR is the code for pearl white.
Good Luck...
---------------------
Also, if it isn't a deep cut/scrape and you still see white where the scratch is you might want to apply only the transparent side of the pen.
Touch-up paint/pens are meant to come close, but they aren't going to match perfectly. If your scratch goes all the way to or past the white base coat then you'll want to use the white then clear.
However, if the scratch didn't make it to the white then you'll only want to use the clear coat.
The whole idea is to protect w/o being any more noticeable than necessary.
You'll always see the scratch because you know exactly where it is, but if you can touch it up where others do not notice it w/casual glance then that's all you can ask...

front bumper base . althought this scatch is not easy to show . but you may see the base color is black color scatch . However , I'm very thanks for your help. On the other hands, when you parking San Mateo 3rd street street parking . please be careful the front roadside is very high . It's very easy scatch the front bumper base.
