This last Friday 4/8/11 when I started my SE turbo the check engine came on and never went off. I had 2915 miles on it at the time and since its the weekend I haven't had a chance to run it over to the dealer yet. I will do that Monday morning 4/11/11 and will keep ya posted. I was kinda hoping it was like a reminder to change my oil at 3000 miles. Oh well thats what a warranty is for right:thumbsup:

Exactly! The dealer will get it sorted out. Hopefully it's nothing major and they have you back on the road in no time.

Let us know how it goes!

Well at the dealer now and wouldn't know it the check engine light went off this morning when I left work. But they were able to pull the error code and told me it was for a misfire. I asked which cylinder but he said he figured it was a generic code....lol will try to get more info later after they try to figure out why my exhaust rattles. Service guy said they are going to take it all apart to see why it rattles....hmmmm. I myself would have done it differently like starting the car and climbing underneath to follow the noise. But they have the Education...lol

Alrighty, at home I had 2 codes on my car. 1st P0302 which is misfire cylinder 2 and P2237 which is O2 sensor pumping current circuit/open bank 1.
They aren't going to do anything about the misfire right now just a wait and see since the motor seems to be running fine. The O2 sensor is on order. Heck that may have been damaged when they needlessly removed the exhaust system looking for the rattle. That according to TSB 10-EM-005 is normal. Thats incredible that they call a rattle normal on a brand new car..lol

You need to contact your dealer if they havent did the recall on your car. There is a recall that will take care of this code. Click Here (http://www.myhyundaiforums.com/11-01-007.pdf) to view the bulletin. If you PM me your cars VIN I will look it up for you.

I have an appointment for the ECM update this Thursday. Also they will be installing the new O2 sensor, and looking at the a/c control system. Seems I had condensate dripping from under my car when I wasn't using the a/c.
