Will be buying a new Sonata, hope the SE.

Hi everyone!

My name is Nick and I was hoping for some guidance in purchasing a new veichel. This my first new purchase and I always bought used cars under $6,000. So I will be shopping in February where I'm hoping prices will be lower when trying to clean house for the 2012 Sonatas. I have $20,000 to spend , I'm not going to lease or take a loan.

I want the SE but I'm not sure I will be able to get it for 20 otd. Anyone think it can happen? I don't need the nav or extras. Just the dual exhaust and bigger wheels.

Any advise would be much appreciated.

Although I'm not in the U.S. I have not heard of anyone getting an SE for that price. I think that is below what the dealer pays for the car. Maybe someone here who works for a dealer will have a better idea.

I'm seeing SE's going for $21,500 in Chicago. I'm not expecting a sunroof or nav. Just the base se.

I would think by years end the dealers would take below what they paid.

I was able to get my SE in Minneapolis for $21000 before taxes/fees.
